Autumn Blaze Red Maple is a hybridization of Silver and Red maples. The result of this cross is a fast growing maple with unmatched autumn foliage. Leaves can turns shades of bright orange, yellow and brilliant red in the cooler months. It is a striking and stately tree that can reach mature heights of 45-50' tall and a canopy spread of nearly the same.
Under ideal conditions, Autumn Blaze can put on up to 3' of growth each year in its early years. This maple can tolerate part sun, but will produce brighter autumn colors if it is grown in full sun.
