Plumerias are the flower that is traditionally used to make those beautiful leis you think of when you think of Hawaii. The flowers are heavily scented and are sometimes used as a key ingredient in fine perfumes.
Plumeria will tolerate a most soil types as long as it is well draining. They need full sun to produce the best blooms. They are cold hardy to the point of freezing, but we recommend you bring them inside a greenhouse or garage in late fall. Overwintering plumeria couldn't be easier, they go completely dormant as temperatures drop, so they do not need any supplemental light during this time.
Plumerias do great in containers, but just make sure to water your plumeria every day over the summer months to keep her from drying out.

We cannot guarantee any particular color via online orders, but you are welcome to call us to see what we currently have available or stop by the nursery. If you place an online order we'll simply reserve you one of whatever colors we have available at the moment.
