Firecracker fern is not really a fern at all, it's actually a weeping subshrub native to Mexico. It has long, cane-like branches that arch over gracefully and it produces small, red tube-shaped flowers.
Firecracker ferns make great container plants and will tolerate full sun to part shade. Water consistently when first transplanted and then about once a week thereafter. This is not a cold hardy plant and should be brought inside as winter settles in.
This Firecracker Fern blooms in red and we sell it in two sizes-- one gallon and three gallon containers.
Nursery pick up only (or we'll deliver to you for an additional fee). No shipping as of this time. Please remember some plants look different in different seasons, for the most accurate visual representation of our plants, it's best to visit our nursery. Online orders will be ready for pick up within 48 hours (usually sooner).
