Basil has fantastic culinary value. We use it in one of our favorite chicken dishes. You start by taking a grilled chicken breast, add a slice of ham, then a slice of heirloom tomato, a large basil leaf and then cover that with a thin slice of swiss cheese and bake until the cheese melts. The combination of flavors is sooo good!
