Bald Cypress is tough and hardy and will adapt to nearly any soil type it is given. A low fuss tree, it will grow in either dry or swampy conditions.
Its native range spreads from the Deep South all the way up to Illinois.
Mature heights can reach upwards of 70' tall and it will spread at about 20-30' across. It can tolerate full sun or part shade just fine. Water regularly after transplanting.
