Blooms start in mid-summer and continue through until the first frost. The bark of this crape is a mottled, light cinnamon brown hue.
Tuscarora grows into a tall tree, achieving a mature height of just over 20' tall. The canopy is wide as well, with a spread of nearly 15-20' across.
Crape Myrtles prefer full sun, with at least six hours of direct sunlight per day. Crape Myrtles can tolerate some shade, but it will result in poor bloom production.
