Tuscarora features wonderful, almost hot pink blooms set against dark green foliage. It is a quintessential southern classic and is seen proudly grown all throughout the South. Blooms start in mid-summer and continue through until the first frost. The bark of this crape is a mottled, light cinnamon brown hue.

Tuscarora grows into a tall tree, achieving a mature height of just over 20' tall. The canopy is wide as well, with a spread of nearly 15-20' across.

Crape Myrtles prefer full sun, with at least six hours of direct sunlight per day. Crape Myrtles can tolerate some shade, but it will result in poor bloom production.

Crape Myrtles like an area with lots of airflow and well drained soil.

We sell Tuscarora Crape Myrtle in both 15 and 30 gallon containers. It is available as a  multi-trunk or groomed to a single trunk specimen tree (STD).

Nursery pick up only (or we'll deliver to you for an additional fee). No shipping as of this time. Please remember some plants look different in different seasons, for the most accurate visual representation of our plants, it's best to visit our nursery.
