Red Rocket Crape Myrtles mature in at heights up to 25' tall with a spread of 10' across. Its natural growth habit is multi truck, but it can be pruned back to a single trunk tree. Red Rocket was cultivated for insect and disease resistance and is a wonderful option for the South.
Crape Myrtles prefer full sun, with at least six hours of direct sunlight per day. Crape Myrtles can tolerate some shade, but it will result in poor bloom production.
