Sycamore trees are one of the largest deciduous trees in North America. These beautiful trees are native to the eastern part of the US (from the Florida Panhandle all the way up to Canada). 

Sycamores are fast growing and can put on more than 2' of height a year. They feature a maple-shaped leaf and can mature in at 100' tall and have a trunk diameter of 10-14'. 

Sycamores prefer deep, rich, moist soil. Sycamores also prefer full sun or mostly sun with light shade.
