Also called Donkey's Tail, this trailing succulent is best suited for a container where it can hang, such as a hanging basket. To keep this succulent from getting 'leggy' make sure that it gets at least eight hours of bright, indirect light per day in the summer. In the winter, it is perfectly fine to keep it in full sun. If not enough sun is available, the leaves will space out so there is more surface area for sunlight, which results in a stretched looking plant.

Water only when soil is dry and do not allow it to sit in consistently wet soil.

Relatively cold hardy, but protect from frost. Anything below about 38°F and the water stored in its chubby leaves can start to freeze, which causes tissue damage in the plant.
