The delicate blooms of Imperial Blue are gorgeously colored somewhere between silver and blue. The blooms are strikingly beautiful against the rich green foliage. Plumbago is eager to please and produces blooms throughout the growing season, from early summer right up until autumn. 

As it starts to reach maturity Plumbago can make an excellent climbing plant and can reach heights of 6-8' tall, if trained on a trellis. It is considered an evergreen perennial that loves full sun. Plumbago is evergreen to 25° F and root hardy to 10° F.
