Knock Out® roses are one of the easiest roses to grow in our hot, humid climate. These are highly black spot resistant, which is one of the primary issues with growing roses in our region.

To give your rose the best start, dig a hole about 1.5' wide and about 2' deep. Fill about half the hole with peat moss, add about a cup of bone meal and a healthy sprinkling of worm castings. When you're finished just stir the mixture together and then plant the rose in this soil. This will jump start your roots and give the rose plenty of nutrient dense soil.

Newly planted roses do best with an organic liquid fertilizer their first year, fish fertilizer is a good option. When using a liquid fertilizer, simply pour the fertilizer over the roots, not on the leaves. Second year and older roses can use granular fertilizer.

Fertilizer should be stopped in September. And roses benefit greatly by being pruned down to about a third each year in late January.

Coral Knock Out® roses should reach a mature height of 3-5' tall. They love full sun conditions and only need to be watered once a week. Roses do not like wet feet and actually perform best with only a weekly watering.

We sell our Coral Knock Out® roses in three gallon containers.

Nursery pick up only (or we'll deliver to you for an additional fee). No shipping as of this time. Please remember some plants look different in different seasons, for the most accurate visual representation of our plants, it's best to visit our nursery. Online orders will be ready for pick up within 48 hours (usually sooner).
