Aztec is a staple around flower beds. The blades of grass are dainty and thin, with excellent variegation. For solid borders plant about 10" so they have lots of room to spread out and fill in at maturity.

These produce an almost 'beaded' flower stalks that appear July-September.

Part shade is recommended, but these will tolerate full sun if needed. Water well until established and then they are pretty resistant to drought conditions. One of the easiest going plants you're likely to meet.

These are evergreen in our area, but may die back a little after a particularly harsh winter. If any freeze damage occurs, simply prune away the dead foliage and they will bounce back to their former glory in the spring.

Aztec Grass is recommended for Zones 7-11.
