Johanna Azalea is a semi-evergreen, making it a wonderful option for a privacy hedge. It is well loved by pollinators such as bees, hummingbirds and butterflies. 

Semi-dwarf in stature, maturing in at about 5-6' tall. A reblooming variety, electric blooms burst from the dark emerald leaves in spring and if conditions are right continue for months.

Azaleas appreciate dappled sunlight and shade from the hot afternoon sun. The best time to fertilize your azaleas is in late February, right after new growth starts to form. If we've had a particularly rainy spring, then it is good to fertilize again in July, but avoid fertilizing after August. 

Johanna Azalea does best in Zones 6-9.
