Muskogee Crape is a fast growing myrtle, it can put out as much as 5' per year under the right conditions. At maturity Muskogee will reach between 25-30' tall and have a spread of about 20' at the canopy.
It produces delicate lavender blooms, with bloom clusters reaching about 12" long. And Muskogee is a prolific rebloomer. At maturity, this crape can give you up to 120 days of color each year-- and did we mention the autumn show this crape puts on? Our photo shows the gorgeous autumn foliage this tree produces.
Crape Myrtles prefer full sun, with at least six hours of direct sunlight per day. Crape Myrtles can tolerate some shade, but it will result in poor bloom production.
