Delphinium produces near electric blue flowers with kisses of rich purple toward the outer part of the leaves. These beautiful blooms are set against lacy, dark green foliage.

Delphinium will fare best if it receives morning sun and afternoon shade. Water regularly when first planted and after that one good rain a week is usually enough for this gorgeous perennial. 

Delphiniums are most hardy when grown in zones 3-7, they can be grown in zones 8-10, if they have protection from the extreme afternoon heat that our area is known for.
