Cardboard Palms aren't really a palm at all, they're a type of cycad (like Sago Palms) and they have been around since the days of the dinosaurs.

Cardboard Palms add visual interest to a tropical landscape. They are cold tolerant, but not frost tolerant and should be protected when hard frosts are expected. They can survive temperatures down to 25°F, but they prefer temperatures between 60–75°F.

These unique cycads also make handsome patio and houseplants.

Cardboard Palms like partial sun and should be protected from the intense afternoon sun. It likes a good drenching of water once a week during the summer and 2-3 times a week in the winter. Fertilize with a granular application twice a year.

Cardboard Palms can reach up to 2-5' tall and spread as large as 5-8' wide.

Cardboard Palm is recommended for Zones 9-11.
