Saw Palmettos are actually a native of Georgia, believe it or not. We see a lot of these in our native Northwest Florida as well. Palmettos are extremely hardy and are drought and salt tolerant, impervious to pests and diseases. And if you're looking for a bonus, these are cold-hardy down to 10°F.

Saw Palmettos will tolerate any light conditions as well, from full sun down to shaded beds and top out at about 5-10' tall.
