Fishtail Palms get their name from the jagged shape of their leaves, resembling a fishtail. This is a moderately fast growing palm that can reach heights of about 20' tall (they grow fastest in full sun, and will grow slower in part shade).

Fishtail Palms are cold hardy down to about 15°F and can tolerate light frosts.
