Nothing smells more divine in the spring than Meyer Lemon blossoms! The blossoms soon turn to fruit. The lemons start out as green-- in fact, they look so much like limes that some people think they purchased a lime tree at first! Shortly before the fruit ripens the yellow color appears and starts to look like a lemon.

Meyer lemons do taste different than traditional lemons. They have more sweet and floral notes, instead of being strictly acidic like a classic lemon. The flavor of a Meyer lemon is sometimes described as a cross between lemon and orange.

Their rinds are edible as well. The rind tastes like citrus and bergamot and has none of the bitter notes associated with traditional lemon rinds.

Expect your Meyer Lemon to reach 6-10' at maturity. Meyer Lemons can be grown in containers, but will need to be repotted to a larger container every two years and will require more water than in ground trees.

These trees love full sun. And Meyers is a self-pollinating variety.

We sell Meyer Lemons in an array of sizes-- from 3 gallons all the way up to 25 gallon containers. But these do sell out fast in the spring!

Nursery pick up only (or we'll deliver to you for an additional fee). No shipping as of this time. Please remember some plants look different in different seasons, for the most accurate visual representation of our plants, it's best to visit our nursery. Online orders will be ready for pick up within 48 hours (usually sooner).
