Ensete is a very striking ornamental banana. While not fruit producing, it does boast beautiful yellow flowers that are a favorite with butterflies.

Ensete is one of the most cold hardy banana trees you can grow here in Northwest Florida. She can easily tolerate down to 25° F, but we still recommend you offer light protection in prolonged cold snaps. 

Foliage is a deep, emerald green that reverse to a bronze, almost red underside. 

Ensete can reach heights of 8-10' tall. 

She can tolerate full sun, but we always recommend that you offer some shade during the hottest parts of the day to prevent leaf burn. 

Water her well when she's newly planted, but once she settles in she's good for about ten days between waterings. 

We sell Ensete in two sizes-- three gallon and 15 gallon containers.
